Free GPS photo tools
Small tools for photographs and coordinates, from the people who make CoyoCam. Free, no sign-up.
Everything runs in your browser. Photos and positions stay on this device — nothing is uploaded, and the site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Stamp a photo with coordinates and time
Coordinates, bearing and time drawn onto a copy of a photo — from its GPS, your position or typed in.
Where was this photo taken?
Read a photo's GPS: the point and its direction on a map, coordinates in every format, time and camera.
Remove GPS from a photo
Take the location out of a photo before sharing it, without re-compressing the picture.
Coordinate converter
Decimal degrees ↔ DMS ↔ UTM ↔ MGRS, both ways, with copy buttons.
My coordinates now
Your current position in every format, with accuracy, altitude and a map.
Why they run in the browser
A photograph with GPS says where you were. Sending it to a website just to read or remove that would defeat the point, so these pages do the work on your device: the file is opened by your browser and never leaves it. The two pages with a map load map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which sees the map area — see the privacy policy.
